very well bro. when you talk about something based on its face value(subjective), whatever you say is uneducated just as an illiterate talking about a surgical process. so since i have not broken down this poem yet and that makes my comment uneducated in all ramifications. looking at this poem again, i perceive a tone [...]

about the crying thing, NYSC needs it big time. not even because of the deaths alone. terrible things are always being done to youth corpers

when i was a corp member, armed robbers killed a corp member who had just arrived for the service year, that was in anambra state

i adore your writings already but in the whole wide world, very few people have successfully made a name with that tense. they weave in different tenses to succeed. i’d like to see you write a novel with this tense (not a diary o!)

    well done sire.

@emmanuella these are lovely poems.the first one did it for me. short crisp and very suggestive. well done as for the second, its very very good. i sense a deeper meaning which i cant place my finger on yet. on face value its more like someone looking at a heirloom, in this case, a photo [...]

@sambright thi is a very personal and vivid description of the beach and the sea. its quite very nice
I LIKED THE IMAGERY YOU USED HERE.

    Much to our consternation
    You could not go further.
OR DID YOU MEAN ‘YOUR CONSTERNATION?

WHY DID YOU SUDDENLY DROP THE RHYMES?

    WELL DONE SIRE.

@idoko i enjoyed your story as usual. well done cos it was a nice effort. you started with the past and suddenly dived into the present? okay. you keep battling with the present tense when your stories will be richer using the mixed tense. well good luck but i must confess that your rich stories [...]

out of all the series in this your reformative write-up, this is the most passionate and agreeable. you have spoken well, maybe too well if there is anything like that. i owe you a handshake. one thing i want to advise you on is that you should never promote what you havent confirmed. its very [...]

@myne..i think what looks a knife should not be called a knife. that clause is wrong and you know that. that is clumsy and needs a change is conviction enough.

secondly, i am not talking about SLOWED as in past tense but SLOW as in present continuous: The bus began to slow
