Kachi replied to the forum topic Forthcoming Book from JK Rowling, are you looking forward to it? in the group NaijaStories Reading Club 2 weeks, 5 days ago

It’s not a detective novel and I don’t care about any classification it is given. JK Rowling’s work will always be good even if it is classified as “children” literature.
Personally. I believe that the […]

to me, the books from nigerian authors cut across the range, from crap to brilliance. the thing is that there’s good stuff out there, but the crap makes it hard to find. we will get there. 9ja stories, I salute you all.

That’s the crux of the matter @Chimzorom, books should be written well even if they are just for fun or entertainment. Being entertained by a book in my opinion means you gained something, plus you might learn a […]

I am reading Professor Achebe’s book, ”The Trouble with Nigeria”, and it is a masterpiece. I am particularly inspired by the old man’s incisive, vehement and concise diagnosis of the problem. I am just discovering the activist in him and it is quite refreshing. Please get your copy.
