A Series Of Lies (2)

Lies everywhere

Lies everywhere

They say you cannot eat

Your cake and have it

They lie

Who owns the content of the belly.

Is the flour not designed

to grow on the soil of your stomach,

To bear fruits harvested

through your anus?

When you have what to eat

You eat what you have.

The inhabitants of the belly

Who’d rather have the cake

grumble for a bite, and bite

You can eat what you have

(And have it within you, for hours)

Or would you rather bargain with ulcer?

Lies everywhere

Lies everywhere
