National Cake

Nigerian-Flag-460x250 nigeria1

The confectioners of contemporary democracy

Floured in the guise of altruistic advocacy

Kneaded into egocentric yeasted dough

The national cake is theirs to divide

Nigerians-Are-Cowards-1

The bakery is a dignified rock

A symposium of enlightened rogues

Gourmands garbed in gorgeous agbadas

The national cake is capitaled in Abuja

nass

After four years in the air-conditioned oven

An Oliver Twist is eventually baked

Who wants more and more tenure time

The national cake must be eaten to the dime

Jonathan 1

The audience are administered crumb-like icing

The bane of their diaphanous dutty-dutty diabetes

Fortunately, the Administrators aren’t physicians

The national cake indeed is phenomenally personal

    The so-called national cake
is without anything as such fake
it’s something the high and mighty
engage in mental and physical fight

Oh, the poor are daily becoming poorer
and the rich are daily becoming richer
as the polithiefians continue to bake
the national cake that Tom alone takes
