Ola’s Strings

I remember Ola!
fiery at work
Terrible at play
The community at ‘FUTA’
Knew of his kit and wit
Looming strings, brewing sounds
Chaining men to thei seats
Your beat they say cure men
Of diseases dangerous as Aids
A legned
Talk of the day you played
Across the coffin
Tilt upon tilt rocked the stand
As shocking!
The ghost danced out of hell!
yes! you did, dilligent at study
But Micro biology never really defined you
For your strings
Will lull the professors to sleep
Grades of high favour rock your boat
For fear of your skills
I dare say
David the great
A man after God’s heart
will envy and desire
Your reknown virtuoso
I remember Ola.
