War; another name for Love

How many pieces can your heart break into?

Be curious to know,

Throw your heart at an handsome devil

A man with slippery hands,

Who never holds on long to anything

See if he even tries to catch it,

Then see through your tear-filled soul

And count the pieces after the crash

You’ll have your answer.

After the tears,

We agreed to paint white flags on our foreheads,

To deny seduction & surrender romance –

But our souls are not fitted for such peace,

Lines cross, feelings ignite

We soon find ourselves back at war,

A heart to heart scuffle –

That we call Love.

@ufuomaotebele, yeah…people play with the heart of others in so outrageous manner, it should be criminal. Thank you for reading, relating and commenting.

  3. This is nice
