A Good Reason to Sin

A Good Reason to Sin

Say I fall into sin quickly,
Say I keep pact with vanity,
That I savour things of the flesh,
That my blood is still young and fresh!

Say I love the world
Say I do not reverence God
That the serpent on the tree
Is the woman I had coveted for free!

For all these I have a reason:
Lurking inherited imperfection!

  1. Hehehehe…this is just great…no beating about, over, under and beside the bush! I ve a reason too! Totally love this.

    1. Thanks dear.
I’m happy you find it worthy

    1. Ɣε̲̣̣̣̥s
      Thanks bro

    1. Ɣε̲̣̣̣̥s
      Thanks for coming around.

  2. Hmmm….short and cool…..but wait!….hiding behind imperfection is jes crazy…words are scare right now
    Well done anyways.

    1. I meant scarce…

    2. Hahahaha…crazy as shit, right?

But really, it is not. It’s †ђξ only excuse, that’s why it says ‘inherited imperfection’. The emphasis is on ‘inherited’ which means you have no power over it.

  3. i guess i heard you blame imperfection for your sin? Yes! No one is perfect but let us strive to it…nice work, wittily done!

  4. Sin is Satan’s identity number and not yours ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.

    Short and nice. Well done.

    1. That’s the way you see it?

      Thanks for the comment…

    imperfection that we must outgrow

    1. In the strict sense of †ђξ word, I don’t think man can outgrow imperfection, notwithstanding †ђξ desire to.

I would say it is difficult but possible. @Chime221

        1. I wish you can elaborate on how possible it could be.

But I doubt if you fully understand †ђξ concept of perfection. In †ђξ strict sense of †ђξ word.

  6. Thanks dear.
I’m happy you find it worthy

  7. Hahahaha…
It’s one thing to strive, it’s another to keep striving, and yet another to attain. It is †ђξ attainment that is impossible as a human being.
The idea of †ђξ poem is that imperfection is ‘inherited’. Man found himself in it.

  8. I agree with Joseph. Nice poem man, hehe, inherited imperfection.

    1. Thanks @six
Though @Josephoguche‘s idea is not plausible enough

    1. Oh yeah, thanks a bunch bro.

  9. I would resist the urge to dabble into theological arguments

    Lovely poem

    1. There would not be any need to do that sir, especially if you don’t feel like.
