The leaves of experience vary in shape

Even the colours are not the same

Some, green, some darker

Some wilted; others torn

Some get angry, some get cranky

Ashamed, stoic and erratic.

Fouling a body does more than hurt

It is sour, bitter and ghostly even while asleep

Some want to report it, some don’t

Some act out, some crawl inside themselves

Some will have healthy lives thereafter

Some will never

Some will survive

Some will die, a thousand times over,

Hoping; wishing; praying they’d better kissed the dust

Avatar of writefightABOUT ME. I was born in Lagos Island but stayed the most of my life in Kaduna. From an early age i devoured plenty of books, along the line the books shaped my thoughts then i began to write. Writing answered the questions that science and technology didn’t cater for…for me, writing is an exploration of the human mind and the wonders of the universe. To write, for me, is to attain Nirvana.

  1. The image of leaves of experience was alluring for me. However, i don’t know whether some of the attributes you gave to them can apply eg angry. cheers
