Word Pusher

Word Pusher

What else do I know

Like the rhymes I blow

Pushing words and lines that glow

Orotund verses like the sun about to show

To show the compulsive lyrical photons

That reach the inner side of my kernel

Apt imaginings that take me through the lakes of life

Revealing the shells seated ashore like rubies

Words pieced to make a bowlful dish

Spiced with allegory and peppered facts

For me to feast

Marked phrases that poke my rib

To make me giggle or ache my brow

To make me refreshed and whole and new
