Poetry Writing And Techniques Workshop This Saturday

The Society of Young Nigerian writers will on Saturday 23^rd of June, 2012 holds it poetry writing and techniques workshop at the Amphitheatre, (at the back of the former house of the Nobel Laureate, Prof. Wole Soyinka) University of Ibadan, Oyo State. They thereby invite the upcoming, talented, and aspiring poets to attend. The registration, workshop kit and certificate of participation are free.

Expected guest poets to deliver lectures are: Mr. Solomon Iguanre – lectures at Babcock University, Ilishan Remo, Ogun State. Author of Scented Debris and Grave Encountered. Mr. Abdulsalam el Mubashir – the immediate past Chairman of the Association of Nigerian Authors, Oyo State Chapter. Mr. Akin Tella – Multiple-award-winning poet, linguist and critic. The Workshop will start by 12:00PM.
