    1. Well, I think he mentioned it to me. Althoug I was aware, I was not ready to cloud my poem with a name Yekini was not known as. Yes, Rasheed is the more correct pronounciation and spelling. But the man himself did not purse that name changing agenda with rigour. He could have insisted that official records carry his own version. Like Clay Cassius Marcellus insisted on being called Muhammad Ali.

      All in all, it is nice Rasheed Yekin is getting the posthumous honour that he deserved. Thank you @sambrightomo. I m so sharing this!

    I just read Chief Odegbami’s comment saying Rasheed was killed.This opens a flurry of long tlks abt this gem.
