Most committed Wins

Most committed Wins

He started small,
Acquired knowledge and all,
Was so very focused
And communicate same to us.

He was beefed
When His messages people conceived
His character they try to sieve
For mistakes they are unlikely to see.

For people hate what they can’t conquer
He continued in committed hunger.
They moved and have Him in crucifix
But only the most committed wins.

  1. Why is your poem moving from past to present continuous?

    Not bad…true talk.

  2. The poem is a kind of motivation for all who strives to achieve a goal. No matter what you or what your challenges may be, its your commitment that determines who will Win.

So, I looked into history and took the case of Jesus Christ as an example.

Though the poem is short but I try to make the morals vivid in its simplicity.

    Thanks

  3. U still didn’t answer Seun’s question. Nice poem though…

  4. I believe it should be an error/typo: Like

    Was so very focused(Past Tense)
And communicate same to us. (Present ….)

    should have been
    And Communicated same to us…

    AND

When His messages people conceived (PAST TENSE)
His character they try to sieve (Present continuous) should have been ‘tried to sieve’
For mistakes they are unlikely to see. (Mistakes the were unlikely to see’

In all, it was motivational though . . .

  5. ok…nyc poem

  6. this was a good effort. nice message and good delivery

i agree with Whiz’s observation to a certain degree because you might argue that the message of Christ is still continuous and never past…but grammar wise, you defaulted

  7. Yh.. pardon for the errors
