    Joyful Hearts
    Twinkling Eyes
    Bending Knees
    Gyrating Hips
    Tapping Feet
    Bobbing Heads
    Singing Tongues
    Flexing Backs

    Waving Arms
    Clapping Palms
    Sweating Brows
    Shouting Mouths
    Sharing their joy
    Giving thanks
    Remember that
    If you will not
    praise the Lord
    who made you
    mere stones will

Hi Tola, I just saw your post. Thanks for your comments. You are right that Baba and Mama Ibeji’s kindness, particularly to someone who would have been labelled an “unbeliever” was a powerful message. Too often we have Christians who forget that they have been saved only by GRACE.

Loved reading this poem. Imagine having someone whisper these words in your ears everyday? Mrs. Xikay is going to be one lucky lady.

There is a twinkle in your eye girl. It is making your face shine bright too. As you strut by working those heels I have to say there is something so new and special about you today. Come close and whisper into my ears. I promise you that I will not share. Oh dear, that is such wonderful news. [...]

Mr. Agema, thanks for your comments/advice. I can tell that you gave the work a good read. I definitely agree that there is room for improvement with this piece. Another other version will definitely be tweaked. God bless you too and have a great week!

Really enjoyed reading this. As I read along, I could actually picture the scenes in my mind. I really think you should look into writing a regular column online/print and getting paid. You have got some really nice skills :)

Thanks Xikay :) I know it does not specifically talk about voting but I felt that an integral part of making choices particularly in an election is understanding the rationality behind making that choice. Are we really committed to make this country called Nigeria work. Do we all have a stake it in? Should I [...]

Good Job Raymond. Loved the imagery you created. You have already tweaked what needed to tweaked. The only thing was that I wanted more. Maybe you could do a follow-up story later?
