A Smile

A Smile

What’s in a smile
Is it about the teeth
Or the elaborate grin
No, else yawning will be fine
It is the unveiling of the heart
The spread on the face
Reminds you
Of a cold bath in harmattan
Once it is sincere
You can’t but smile back
To show your gratitude.

  1. People underestimate the power of a smile brief but sweet

  2. Precise, to the point.

  3. Nice one. If you could make that title less obvious the poem would be great.
Find another word. Smile is too clichéd.

  4. @BENCHMARK. I like poems that are short, precise and hit the nail on the head, you just did that. *smile back at you *.
