Novus Ordo Seclorum II

Novus Ordo Seclorum II

When darkness has world’s attention
The earth is filled with damnation
No man can get his bearing
Always will man be tearing

The world is prepared to destroy
For death a bomb they deploy
The peace we see is in thwart
Such war we thought will be fought

Alas! He still is waiting
For the soul that needs his saving
The one who’s ready to save
The soul that yearns and crave

A man who shut down his eyes
To the darkness on earth that lies
Deceit is all abroad
Yet God is still our God.

The last line, my favourite, thanks for sharing.

  2. I liked part one better but the last two lines are the best 4 me here, too. Well done, Wright. $ß.

  3. What is this? A poem or a brutal assassination with Rhyme knives? Lol. Pardon my French but I swear this poem woulda been fabulous if you do away with the rhyme-at-all-cost syndrome. Lord knows

  4. nice attempt..but it needs a total overhaul.
