It Is Your Fault

It Is Your Fault

It is your fault to walk alone while carrying a load

To have a drink, a strong drink at that

To walk alone in the dark of the night

To not fight back with all your might

It is your fault to not pay attention to your surrounding

To make calls without watching your back

To not learn commonsense

To have dressed that way

It is your entire fault for not screaming for help

To give your PIN to strangers

To slip-on heels on a rainy day

It is my fault if to drink is crime

Strong or mild, that is not the grime

Scream? To a loaded Dane gun?

“Uncle! Stop!”

He is my Uncle.
