Fight Of Faith

Fight Of Faith

Like a mighty rushing wind,

Celestial beings invade the mind,

Alas but heinous creatures defy passage.

Hearts frisson, expecting lethal carnage

Summons invoke the mighty,

Amidst thickest darkness

Whence weaklings dare not pry;

Deliverance sparkles in subtle brightness

Encompassed by an army of spectators,

Evoking a fight of gladiators,

Screams of pain to tears of gain

Doubt pushed aside, a bounty now in sight!

How that daily high walls are scaled with ease,

And all the obstacles evade like breeze.

For though challenges mount as waves,

Like smoke it all soon fades.

For what a faith we do wield;

Though we know not the fullest might,

For when on God it‘s placed,

Impossible becomes an erased mistake!
