Thanks to everyone for the congratulatory words. I will always owe my writing success to NS because this was the first platform I published my stories. NS encouraged me to hone my writing skills and for this I’m […]

@brizio, thanks for reading. I believe a good short story should sometimes leave the reader with questions which however do affect its resolution. As for Niyi’s mother, the reader may decide that depending on […]

@tolaO, the swift transition to Nike’s daydream was intentional. It is the major intrigue in the story – you would have noticed the indistinct use of ‘he’ and ‘she’ instead of Niyi and Nike. Well to the reality of […]

@daireenonline, thanks for reading. That part was indeed a rush period even from the action going on.

@Eletrika, thanks for reading. I guess you mean *cluttered*. I don’t know whether you’re referring to a graphical cluttering (as in the paragraph arrangement – that’s was due to my posting the story on mobile). […]

I thought the public rating was over that’s why I said it should be replaced with the voting. However, upon second thought, it’s not so bad since the story links are listed under the polls.

@admin, I think it would be better if the public rating is removed from the story page and replaced with the voting option. It’s kind of bothersome telling people to read your story on one link and vote on another.

I think you have a good story idea but you managed it poorly. At first I was confused as to the main subject matter, until I got to the end of the story. I think you over stretched the part about the court case. […]

@omojola, thanks for your usual accolade. Well, as per the standard six brain, it was already hinted that the woman had more intelligence than her husband admitted. And some of the ‘needless’ words are […]

Did you just say small subset? Lolz. There is an ever widening circle of such men as the rate of women with power and money increases.
I enjoyed the simplicity of the poem and its lyrical style. Often times […] -

@tolaO, I get your drift – however, the abruptness is due to the illogicality and spontaneity often attached to magic. I agree with you about using constructive resolutions. My intention in this story was to […]
