A great piece, Igwe. Forgiveness is the first step on the road to healing. Yet it is also sometimes the most difficult step for some people. Without it true healing never occurs.

I like this. It needs editing and tightening up to make it flow better. As this is flash fiction, you need to use words economically to get the point across and avoid repetition.
