• I like the gloomy feel of this piece… I’m not one for bright and sunny “High Schoool Musical” type writing… LOL. (Is that bad?) I guess this is just narcissm cos I do write quite melancholic pieces myself, most times. I like the detail with which you describe the banquet; it makes the personification feel […]

  • I love this… Like the two comments have suggested, it’s straight to the point but loses none of its meaning. My favourite lines were “now they chop, and chop alone/ while I die, I die, I die alone.”

hahahaha… this has to be the most unique compliment I have ever receieved. My writing flows like a smoothie. Thank you! :)

This is sooo good… It got me sha. As in damn… Me sef dey find this kind kiss… Warraheck? LOL! I like the fact that you addressed the “first kiss” theme from such a different perspective. The feelings that hit the hardest don’t always involve physical contact. This was nice. Well done. :)

Thanks… I kinda wrote it in a five minute rush… It just sort of tumbled out, lol… So that might explain why you felt there was no “limit”. It just flowed. As for that part… I don’t know how to explain it… The idea there was that this person has taken over the persona’s senses […]

  • I’m falling Deeper and deeper Faster than ever before I know where this is going Yet I fight I fight because I am scared Scared that this perfect image of you is just an illusion One I have created for myself- a safe haven Because you are not the one But I need you to be […]

Thanks guys… I’m not good at writing poetry so I appreciate your positive comments. :)

  • Thanks guys… Poetry was never really my thing so your kind words mean a lot.

Thanks guys… I just read over this again and I see the melodrama.. It feels a bit weak. I appreciate all the comments, though. I guess all writers learn on the job.

  • I get your point. One must take care to ensure that the unpredictable does not become the unrealistic. At the end of the day, people want to identify with characters they read. All the same, I really liked this piece. I wrote something about a spirit husband scenario a while ago so the subject matter […]

  • Thanks guys… I just read over this again and I feel like this is my favourite of all the stories that I have written. Your comments validate that. Thanks a lot.

  • Thanks for the comments, guys. Like I said on the continuing part of this story… I’m afraid it’s dead. I have no idea where to go with this story. Thanks for the nice comments though… They are very encouraging.

hahaha… Thanks guys… I would like to continue it but I’m afraid the story is dead. I just have no idea what to write next. :( I appreciate all your comments, though.

  • Thanks for the comments guys… I love this book and writing about it was really fun.

  • Thanks for the feedback guys. It’s nice to write something and feel like people out there get what you are saying.

Thanks guys. The comments really mean a lot. Especially the mentions of the great Soyinka… WOW. I could never even dream of being put in the same sentence as any of those famous names mentioned so thank you guys a lot for your kind words.

  • Wow… The perpetual virginity debate… Before I address that issue, I just want to stress that you are a good writer. This was a well written piece- the nice balance of addressing a social issue without making it too preachy by including the painful experience of a character. Now, on to this virginity debate. I […]

  • I love this. I really like when people turn old stories we’ve heard over and over again into something fresh. Well done.

  • I think this has the makings of a good story but the emotional aspect was a bit lacking, for me. For instance certain parts could have done with a feeling of more immediacy or suspense- such as the scene where he realises that the strange man is in the picture. Others could have done with […]
