Someone once asked me if i was feeling very well when he saw me standing at the bus stop in the night under the street lights, reading! How can you feel comfortable reading like that? I just smiled.

I read anywhere I feel like it – some books demand not to be put down till you get through them.

However…to get carried away with reading in a strange and unsafe place is to ask-for-it.

But I usually read any/everywhere reasonable and safe…not in the middle of the express.

Nothing weird about that, @Clemency. If the toilet is clean and well scented, it’s a great place to read.

Also, I read on my bed.

But unlike @ShewhoisLoved, I cannot comfortably read standing up.

I’m most comfy reading on my bed, on a bus or in a secluded place. There has to be constant sound ov something banging like a door or metal hitting metal or some form of noise. Otherwise, I’ll be asleep before I turn the next page no matter how interesting the book.

I like to feel I’m still alive while reading. Hence, the noise. No noise? Naaaah, nt 4 me. In fact, the louder the noise, the better.

Ha @queenzayta,I feel you on the constant sound thingy…but for me its just some upbeat music, not door or metals like you hehehe

@teewah…music distracts me when i’m reading. So I listen to it, when I need to be lazy.
