After Memory of Love, I’m now reading Lilith’s Brood by Octavia Butler

I’m actually reading three books in parallel:

- ‘Magic Kingdom – For Sale – Sold’ by Terry Brooks: a book about a man who buys a magic kingdom with mythical creatures for a million dollars;

- ‘The Getaway Special’ by Jerry Oltion: one of the main characters comes up with a cheap way of faster-than-light travel, meaning that human beings can leave earth and set up their own colonies (I’m sure this would appeal to those who believe that Nigeria should split up and each group should have its own separate space);

- A Fold in the Tent of the Sky’: A group of psychics has been assembled for some mysterious work, but one of them is killing the others off.

There’s a fourth book waiting for me – a Black American detective novel titled ‘In the Heat of the Night’.

Now reading one of the ARABESQUE books titled CHANCES ARE by DONNA HILL.
