recently just before the final on may 19th i learnt an irate barca fan killed another person because he was supporter of chelsea. i have been wondering and pondering why some Nigerians are so daft- barca and chelsea none of those players knows anybody back here so why are people killing one another for nothing. yes we can be passionate but must we kill one another please beg them to stop the madness.

As @TolaO has rightly shown, people don’t fight or maim one another in such situations because of the welfare or pride of the club or players per se, but they do so because it has become a part of their cultural or social identity.
