Tomorrow’s Might

You who think today you hold,
Tomorrow might not be for you.
You who do not for today have regard,
Tomorrow might not be for you.
You who make others painfully cry,
And on your face plastered is a smile so sly,
Tomorrow might bring Karma for a stop by.
You who make of people’s children servant,
After stealing their parents’ commonwealth,
Tomorrow might make yours helot.
You who build your altar with sweat unpaid,
Tomorrow might see it tumble to the ground.
If you do not for today have regard,
Tomorrow might not be for you.
