A little prayer

A little prayer

So I said a little prayer
With a heart full of wistful desires
My tongue had spat words of fire.
You could imagine the force
That trampled innocent me
I could let you take my horse
Then he could show you
The dark paths of my life
That had led me into the black vacuum.
Only then could you see the real me
Stripped and naked.
In all ramifications of vulnerability
I said ” our father who art in heaven”
Hoping I will find a safe haven
With a little prayer.
