Land of unease.

Land of unease.

Land of unease- Boniface Raymond
Everyday on news, nothing new but blue
Except the usual sorrow striking so hard
Each day,dip fresh cut added to a wound
Women forced to howl in widowhood;
Children turned orphans in pain and shame;
Poor kids bathe with their parent’s blood;
Losing everything even before they had it.
How long shall this gruesome acts reign?
Yet having a clear view as in the cinema.
Even the fragile wren, smallest of birds,
Will fend it’s young ones against threats
From the forest deadliest preying owls.
I long to get some shady place out there
Where I can sit putting sorrows to words
And cry out my heart, let my fallen tears
Flood far away sighs, groans, and shrieks
That rip through the air yet so unnoticed.
