Nature

Nature

Just as it takes a curious mind to unravel a mystery, so also it takes a beautiful eyes to see and appreciate beautiful phenomena such as darkness, light, colours, form and shape of nature. Nature is beautiful! Yeah! It is very beautiful if only we would stop whatever we are doing for awhile and take a second and closer look at the world we lived in.
I told a brother sometime ago that if he wanted to be happy like never before, he should take some time out to see nature. He was a person widely known for his free spending on drinks, women, clothes, jewelries and cars. He was Ok in the contemporary sense of the word OK. Yet, upon all his collection of luxurious things, he sat down one fateful afternoon in total dejection. I wanted to be happy was all that he uttered when quizzed on why he sat with dolour hanging freely on his heart.
After all had been said by concerned friends, I told him to take some time out to appreciate nature in its undiluted form. To do this, I urged him to look at things differently with a bare mind devoid of daily struggles. I made him see joy in looking at the blue sky in the day, and its dark raiment laced with shining lights of stars in the night. I made him to want to climb on high hills just to be suspended in the empty space of the vast sky. I made him to also want to feel the gleeful dance of trees and shrubs when wild wind traveled by. I encouraged him to look at art works such as pictures, sculptures and music as a fragmented piece of nature.
Lastly, I urged him to learn to stop being part of the everyday drama of life. I made him to step aside, just the way an actor step aside in a theatrical production for him to see how others in the stage of life go on acting. He saw their forms, shapes and their utilization of space in which they lived in and drew some life lessons and also had fun.
Life is beautiful, not only by enjoying oneself with the riches of life but also by stepping into the oblivion and studying life the way a student studied his books. By this, you would enjoy nature at its fullness by taking firmaments, hills, humans, animals and trees as fascinating variables to be studied and enjoyed.
