Its Over

Its Over

The rain crashed to the ground heavier than my heart slammed against the rock. I was drenched in its blessedness but my eyes were clouded by the smoke from the lighting. My minute strands slept peacefully as the cold wind drove by. The memories were raised from the dead by her sorcery. Her word rang again spitting its venom. I fought in the battle of drops for an antidote hidden at the cave of her beards. Her eyes stared into mine like an arrow awaiting its flight. I cared about her feet, I wiped it with my long strands of strength. As usual, she met my doppleganger. The more perfect creature. Then instead of her’s, my pump broke at her words. It was loud and clear spoken by her gates to my beating drums “IT’S OVER” . I lost my pull and the soil begged for my head. I flew home in the thousand drops mumbling her chants “IT’S OVER”
