No ! They Won’t Tell You

They won’t tell you
About the gory images of gruesome murders
Of the streams of our blood on their streets
No ! They won’t tell you

About the pregnant women
Whose bellies were slit open
With their innocent babies butchered
No ! They won’t tell you

Of the Russian birds of horror
Strafing and bombing, dropping shrapnel
Like pellets of the rain
No ! They won’t tell you

That they destroyed civilian gatherings
Sending missiles of death to Markets, Churches, Schools, Hospitals and Homes
No ! They won’t tell you

Of the war crimes they committed
Violating the rules of engagement
Raping our women before their children
No ! They won’t tell you

About starvation as a weapon
Reducing our children to skeletal frames
With big heads and pot-bellies
No ! They won’t tell you

About the trauma we suffered
Hearing “Ka-boom” “Ka-boom”
Ringing in our ears though it has ended
No ! They won’t tell you

Of the continued war waged silently
With the twenty pounds policy
To distinguish the “Victors” from the “Vanquished”
No ! They won’t tell you

That it was a conspiracy with the west
To exterminate this ingenious race
Blessed intellectually and naturally
No ! They won’t tell you.
