Building Your Confidence

“That feeling, that you can trust, believe in and be sure about the abilities or good qualities of somebody or something

……..”

HOW YOU CAN BUILD YOUR CONFIDENCE
Building your confidence

Mostly, we limit ourselves to a single spot, limiting beliefs about ourselves in particular areas of our lives… Experience, Talents and Skills will take you far in life, as they will serve as major factors in the building of one’s confidence…. The fact that confidence matters a lot is not just any fact, but one that indeed matters… How do you help bring about that confidence in your child? It’s quite simple and at the same time quite hard, cause it could and could not happen in a day, it basically depends on how broken your ward is… A broken heart is difficult to mend they say, but a broken spirit? How do you bring that back to fullness again?

CON-ARTISTS, they are everywhere, our homes, work, schools, everywhere you can think of. Ever wonder what makes them successful in most of their cons? THEIR CONFIDENCE. It is a major factor in their well so called ‘profession’, they need it, they feed on it, cause what is a Con-Artist without his confidence… In perfecting their act, they never let their guards down, they prey on their victims’ ignorance, fear and also lack of confidence, because that’s when we are most vulnerable in believing things we shouldn’t believe… Now coming to how you can build your confidence and that of your kids. Still going to use the CON-ARTISTS as an example here… What do we learn from their victims? Regret, pain and that newly found but late confidence (that’s in few cases though)… Just like it takes a while to heal a broken heart, so does it take time to regain that lost, buried confidence.. Patience matters a lot when it comes to building confidence, especially in little kids. It just won’t pop back up just as it went away, it takes TIME, FORTITUDE and also FAITH, don’t rush things… In a child’s case, they would need your attention (fully), love, care and that full encouragement. You don’t just tell a kid to stand up to a bully and leave it to end there, it goes a longer way than that… How do you help your little girl overcome her fears before a big ballet performance before hundreds of parents and teachers at school? How do you motivate your players as a coach before a big final game against a team you’ve never beaten? It’s all more than the pep talk you give them, are you yourself confident? Most times, you need to give a pep talk, or give any talk at all, it’s all mostly in your attitude. You are scared she will flop, but the little gal herself isn’t worried, not that she knows she is going to do great, but because she has seen a positive reaction from someone in similar situation like hers, and that gave her the confidence she needed for the big dance……

“ITS NOT ALL ABOUT TALKING, ALL YOU SOMETIME NEED TO DO IS JUST STOP, LOOK, AND LISTEN AND SEE YOUR ANSWER(s)”-RAYMOND

Well first there is this talk about confidence, then the next thing there is steps u need to take to build your confidence then a closure..

Confidence, I’ll define Confidence as “The power to be able to control the things around without fear of failure.” Confidence isn’t something you wake-up and happen to have it must be learned, practiced and mastered just like any other skill and once you have it you will be changed for the better. Might sound funny but even great leaders lack self-confidence at certain times. Confidence is not static rather it’s a mindset that you have to obtain if only you work on yourself. There are ways of gaining and maintaining self-confidence

*Body language *Dress better *Speak fearlessly *Think positive *Take a step *Good company

Good, you found your confidence, you are you again. But what happens when this regained confidence of yours gets the better of you???????????

Controlling Your Confidence

We all love that courageous person, brave and ready to take on anything or anyone, nothing stops them, all ready to act. Braveness pays, but being brave does not mean you’ve got to be STUPID (yeah, it’s in caps). You’ve got to play smart and safe… Coming to the aspect of controlling your confidence, it’s just as important (if not more) as getting your confidence…. Talking fearlessly Is a good thing to have as it is a confidence booster, but it can turn out to be a great disaster waiting to happen if our fearless talks aren’t controlled…. Having a strong confidence doesn’t make you Clark Kent. A confidence that can’t be controlled is dangerous.. Controlling your confidence also has to do with thinking right, knowing when to speak and when to back-off.. And remember just as Carly said “Confidence isn’t something you wake-up and happen to have it must be learned, practiced and mastered just like any other skill and once you have it you will be changed for the better. Confidence is not static rather it’s a mindset that you have to obtain if only you work on yourself.
