Be Grateful!! Don’t Give Up!!

Be Grateful!! Don’t Give Up!!

I’ve been reading some amazing stories and things God has been doing in the lives of the people who are “incomplete” to the physical world but are totally complete in the spiritual. It saddens me to see so many people who were so complete physically but they never realised their purpose in life.
I was so humbled by what God has been using these people to do, can you imagine someone whom the world had totally rejected now bringing hope to the world(I’m talking about Jesus Christ).
It shows that that your background and your physical attributes, whether you are short or tall, fat or thin, dark or white, doesn’t determine God’s plan for you. You should be grateful for how God made you. When you see yourself as nothing, that’s not the way God made you, He has created you for His glory.
Imagine what the disciples asked the Lord about the blind man, they want to know whether his physical disability will hinders God’s plan from being fulfilled in his(man’s) life, but they were really surprised just like when they heard the Lord saying “Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him” John 9:3.
I’m very sure you were astounded by that statement. Have you ever wondered why God made you the way you are? Have you ever asked why are born in this country or in this family of yours? Have you ever think why you are in that situation whether pleasant or unpleasant? You might have about them but not in a positive way. But I want you to know that those things are there in order for your life to glorify God at the end.
It is high time you stopped your complaints and murmurs and start discovering God’s plan and purpose for your life.
The salvation of your soul is the first step towards fulfilling God’s purpose for you because your “real” life begins at the cross.
“But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: That no flesh should glory in His presence” 1Corinthians 1:27-29.
So do you think you are a “mistake” for being born that way, into that family, that community, that country? I certainly don’t think so!! You are not a mistake at all, God knows the reasons why He puts you into that place, He wants you to be a blessing, He wants you to be a positive influence to people around you whether they are young or old.
Imagine if Nick Vujicic fails to realise God’s plan and purpose for him, I’m sure you won’t hear of him today. There are so many people that were born with one deformity or the other either physically or mentally, either socially, intellectually or emotionally but very few of them realised that God had made them to be blessings to mankind wherever they are and never to give up on their lives.
So you have got to rise up on your feet and determine in your heart and mind(both must be in agreement) never to give up on your life. Don’t end your life by committing suicide, it won’t solve your problems but makes you a coward. You were created to be a winner not a loser, you were created to be a victor not a victim, you were created to triumph not to be defeated.
Remember that “YOU CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHICH STRENGTHENS YOU” Philippians 4:13
And also don’t let your background put your back to the ground.
SHALOM!!!

  1. Nice words.

Though you need to master how to stick to an appropriate tense e.g.

    * failed or fails….. Imagine if Nick Vujicic ‘fails’ to realise God’s plan and purpose for him, I’m sure you won’t hear of him today.

    * hinder or hinders…… they want to know whether his physical disability will ‘hinders’ God’s plan from being fulfilled in his(man’s) life

    1. Thanks for the correction!!
