I’ll stop screaming

That poem has not been written.

The poem that will classify me.

The poem that will release me.

The poem that will vindicate me.

It is yet to be written.

On the day it will be written;

lions will bray,

goats will moo,

sheep will cry,

cattle will roar,

dogs will crow,

horses will bleat,

humans will mew

and cats will bark.

That poem has not been written.

The poem that will need a paintbrush.

The poem that will paint the sky green.

The poem that will ring a million bells.

It is yet to be written.

On the day it will be born;

bells will whine,

donkeys will neigh,

frogs will trumpet,

children will toll,

pigs will crack,

houses will grunt,

the cock will moan,

mother will wake me

and I’ll stop screaming.

  1. huh! Shaky stuff…inasmuch as you paited a pathetic state of disappointment…it does not seem you would want to stop screaming one day with your last two lines…anyway,mybe you have a better view…@murny okosisi

  6. With all these natural impossibilities, that poem may never be written, and you’d never stop screaming!
