As it came to be
That HE
Created earth for you and me
Mortalities
…
And death became so untimelyAt exactly five today
With roses and daffodils
I shall visit the cemetery
And you need not to ask me
Why? When I’m through with my story
I work in a mortuary
So my friend, I’ll lecture thee
That fifty percent of the bodies
They pack and bring to mortuary
Mostly do not rest in peace
When all timely deaths are free
The ghosts of all the untimely
Roam the street so unfriendly
I give hands to dead bodies
Call me portal of the mortuary
Since mortuary’s like a dormitory
And portals work in dormitory
Now and then and day by day
I lay
Their beds and clean their skin
When day
Has come and gone away
I watch over their dead bodies
And do caution all their murmuring
A lot of them are so friendly
If you wish to work with dead bodies
Some are sinner, some are holy
Some are brutal, some are crony
Some are quiet melancholy
While sanguine ones are so lousy
Amidst all the dead bodies
Joy always love to talk to me
While others play monopoly
Or fry some eggs for indomie
Or gather together to be lousy
Joy always love to be with me
A clean babe like Alicia Keys
With shining black like a chimney
In January
She had wished to see
Her seventy seven hundred days
Before Bokobombing tragedy
Brought her to the mortuary
Such was her own destiny
For her to reign with Almighty
Few days to be buried
She got so close to me
And would come and talk to me
And would come and sing for me
She told me the true story
Of her lonely memories
So I cried and said sorry
And she loved my company
And suddenly fell in love with me
She used to hold and cuddle me
But no mortal eye could see
She used to rain her kiss on me
But no mortal eye could see
Her kisses went and scar my lips
But no mortal eye could see
The day she crossed my boundary
The staff parted the red sea
But no mortal eye could see
The previous Saturday
Few men in her family
Came to bury her body
In a Catholic cemetery
At exactly five today
With roses and daffodils
I shall visit the cemetery
Just to tell her Rest In Peace
Life is such a mystery
Me, I studied Pharmacy
But here I am in mortuary
What a funny destiny.
