Energy? We all have it!
It makes and mars us
What can we do without it?
Yet! Why do some reap more and others less?
Energy.
It must be applied!
Could success then lie in its application?
Not only I have energy,
but all that exists in my environment.
the wind, water, plants, fire, even the earth…
Sunday to Saturday, the week is all spent.
That energy, converted to stories about me
from lips to hearts of everyone who has come across me making
My History!
Yet! What separates the men from the boys?
Women, from Girls?
Energy management, or focus,
A beginning, a means and an end.
They loose altogether; Peter can’t be robbed to pay Paul
Distractions – energy too- and they are real
Nothing but energy trapped in means that do not help me achieve my ends.
A noble goal,
Its guaranteed means,
With propelled Energy?
Makes a Wise Man and a Tactful Woman.
Focus! On that energy

It wouldn’t surprise me if I found 9ice’s Energy on your playlist. Thank you for the encouragement I’m humbled that my poem would remind you of a song you might like. My favorite lines from “Energy!” would be lines 18 into 19:
