It adorns your face
like the crescent moon…
I could sit for days
playing lively tunes
just to gaze upon
your harmless weapon.
It lights up your face
like a streak of lightning…
I’m left in a daze,
And can’t but start singing
for like the touch of silk,
It makes my whole being skip.
I’ll race against the wind’s
every puff and blow…
I’ll climb the highest peaks
if It’d fetch me the gift
of It spreading so slow
across your beautiful lips.
