Great nations, wonderful people, sweet black home
O thou Great One, O thou Enkai, O thou Mulungu
Deity of deities, Father of our fathers, source of our life;
Bless theeAfrica, beauteous Madonna, thy beloved
Land of milk and honey, black gold, blessed land
Entity with compare, creation like no other, O Allah
Streams of cool waters, that runs intoMediterranean, and Pacific
Soils black with life, home for they creation, our livelihood
A continent of stupefying grandeur, deserts and rainforests
Family so one, beauty known world over, and acknowledged
Rose and thorns hug, pine and iris wed, lacks nothing
Incessantly we pray, and worship, in ways known to us
Culture so embedded in us, and forever shall, ever and ever
And glory shall be yours, as did our fathers, thy children.
