There are a few things I believe in;
And I would like you to know some of them.
I believe true love exists
And can be found by sincere seekers.
I believe knowledge gained is good;
But knowledge applied is better.
I believe hard work pays
And that patience is really a virtue.
I believe that in a basket of rotten apples,
It is possible to find one good one.
I believe what Christ said –
Pick yourself up, though you fall seven times.
I believe, like my daughter does,
That there is a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
I believe people are more good than bad;
Sometimes they just don’t know this!
I believe all these, and many more
But it is important to me that you know:
In addition to these, And above all else,
I believe in you.
