I spent all day reminiscing,

Lying in my bed,

And am sure he thought I was sleeping,

But it was more like day dreaming.

Walahi, paper and pen can’t record this feeling.

Like a movie, I began the journey.

First to the scene when we divinely met,

And how like a convict I was arrested.

My boastful ego was tested. It failed,

And I was carried away.

My senses were corrupted.

What would it be like in jail?

I thought to myself as you walked away

Could this be love? Infatuation? Lust?

Silence was the next answer,

As I remembered Moore’s tales of the wind dancer.

Burglary, previously was on my heart,

And how you broke in, I tried to recap

A 7 star hacker you must be. You cleared your tracks.

My protocols and rules tried to attack

But my skyrocketed feeling called them back.

So I was this vulnerable I thought to myself!

Unfair treatment, my body said,

Emotions already screaming help! Help! Help!

As heartbeat tried to normalize itself

That night, only my spirit slept.

Brain activity was 100%

I looked for a brain to rent,

Because the one in my head was pictorially overloaded

Meanwhile, court session was opened

My head was banging

My brain accusing – the EYE for lusting

She said “I only saw”,

But the head refused to turn.

Hours became minute,

Like the night was on pause

And the remote was lost,

With no one to press resume.
