Black-out

It’s with great pleasure that I call out the next awardee
She was first in physics, second in mathematics…

Bang! Bang! Bang!  Goes my head
Like  a canon there’s a boom in my head
That launches  great pain in my head chamber
My alarm system goes on automatically and zillions of signals are transmitted to my brain.
I feel it
My sense of feel is very active and vibrant to such signals
My reflexes switch to the active mode
My head is oscillating at a frequency that defies resonance

She is the first and only female student to win the……

And a sword pierces through my head
Immediately i see a vision of white and black

Ladies and gentlemen, join me in welcoming this wonderful and rare gem to recieve her award as the best…

A black soldier approaches me, more of monster than a man
He has teeth that defines ”white”
But is as dark as darkness painted with black
He’s smiling at me and calling on me
he says he won’t hurt me if I coorperate
I try to ask questions but I am dumb
I convey the questions in my eyes to my soon-to-be captor
He is angry
My biggest mistake, I shouldn’t have asked
He opens his mouth and it expands into a very big circle
Awed, I attempt evaluating the elasticity of his dimensionless mouth
Zilions of award plagues emerge from the darkness of his mouth and aim at me
Fright-gripped
I can’t move
I can’t scream
I shut my eyes in alarm

When i open it, I see the stern face of principal smiling at me…
