The magic red ball that changes darkness to light was slowly being swallowed by the horizon. The breeze was blowing gently and its effect was extremely satisfying on my skin. I adjusted my standing posture and put my elbow on the balcony of my house. I looked unto the world within my reach and far beyond; there was a lot of things to say about them.
Since the beginnings of time, alot of things in the world are wonders, some are natural phenomena like;
*Grand Canyon caused by the Colorado River in Colorado USA
*Mammoth cave (biggest cave in the world) in USA
*Dead sea (a salt filled lake) in Jordan
*Utah arches in Yellowstone National park, Utah: USA
*Great Rift Valley-East Africa
But then, we also have wonders built by men who fall within the period (medieval age-middle age). Examples are:
*The Great Pyramids: built as a tomb for Egyptian kings called Pharaoh. Apart from the sarcophagus, it also contains household asset believed to be used by the pharaohs spirit on way to the home of gods…
*Stonehenge: unexplained mysterious stone arrangement in Britain.
*Kailasa temple: an ancient Hindu temple built to honour the god Shiva in Ellora, India.
*Easter Island: unexplained stone made giant heads in Chile.
*The Great Wall of China: built to fence parts of China against barbarians.
*Oak island Canada (contains a money pit that is believed to contain two million pounds, but brilliantly engineered water traps has till today stopped modern man from reaching it!)
New age men also have many wonderful structural achievement but they cannot be compared with “medieval men”. Take for instance; the great pyramid at Giza. It is the tomb of the Egyptian Pharaoh “Khufu”. Its some 481 feet above the ground and covers some 13 acres, and it contains some 2.3 million limestone blocks. It stood the world tallest man-made structure for 3800 years! Until it was overtaken by the Lincoln cathedral in 1300AD. It was built without the use of pulley, lever talk less of cranes. The rocks were carefully cut with stick and arranged one on another till they attained that height in a pyramid house form in which complex mathematical calculations and survey skills were involved. We the new age men have cranes, pulley, calculators, textbooks containing ancient ideals and many more to aid us…
Get my gist better by searching through GOOGLE this structure – “KAILASA TEMPLE IN ELLORA, WEST INDIA”. Check the image result, you would be stunned to see a 110ft high, 275ft by 155ft long grandeur temple. It is the world’s largest monolithic structure and it was actually chiseled out from a ROCK!!!
Or better still, lets compare face of Mt RUSHMORE in Black hills in South Dakota which contain faces of four former USA presidents (George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln and Theodore Roosevelt) with the ancient seated Grand Buddha in leshan; China (it is the biggest Buddha sculpture in the world). It is about 230ft high. A picnic could be held on his big toenails. While the former involved use of drills and use of dynamite as erasers, the Buddha on the other hand was chiseled out of red rock of riverside cliff with the use of manually operated stone cutters!
Its not that we the new age are not wondrous, we are; we have them in
*Hoover Dam on Colorado River in USA
*Grand Colee Dam in Washington, USA
*Eiffel Tower in Paris
*Leaning Tower of Pisa in Italy
*Palm Island in Dubai: The largest man-made Island
*Golden Gate bridge in San Francisco…USA …….ETC.
But the means by which these things were achieved is what we should look into. These days, man does absolutely nothing; he just sits in a crane and lifts several thousand tons of building materials within minutes. He sits behind a computer system and does survey calculations and the likes, but all these are not his making, its of machines!
Do you know the proper definition of a machine?
“A machine is a preserved medieval brain put in slavery!”
So who is better, medieval or the new man?
In summary of the above, we could see that man has declined in “Personal Knowledge and Abilities”…
Not only that, everything about the world is crumbling. From depleting ozone layer to the weathering mountains to our individual lives; things like morals and the likes are crumbling…
When something is crumbling, it is bound to stop existing after some time. That is the reason behind people predicting “DOOMSDAY” in our present age. An example of recent ones are: May /21st/2011 which was a calculation from the Old Testament, and the Mayan calendar based Dec/21st/2012 which is based on the Mayan long count calendar (a film titled 2012 was made using the above theme).
Did I say morals are crumbling? Some months ago I mistakenly misplaced my phone while rushing from my departmental shed to the lecture theather for a test. Within thirty seconds of my departure, some ladies noticed it and were already using their legs to pour sand over it; my phone would have been history if not for my eagle eyed friend who saw it and was able to claim it for me!!!
I remembered reading about medieval people who never stole a thing; lost items were lodged at an assembly point which was usually the Ruler’s house.
The present human Dress code is “Nakedness plus cultural chameleon”…
Dress code is also a predominant crumbling thing especially among the females. People of the medieval are not like this. I can recall that at last year’s Grammy awards; “LADY GAGA” wore a piece of dried meat as clothing as well as footwear!!!
So much for the new age,
VIRGINITY is a shame;
ADULTERY AND FORNICATION is celebrated and;
HOMOSEXUAL is a LAW.
WW1 (world war one) happened due to Arch duke Frenz Ferdinand of Austria assassination by a nineteen years old named Princip (a Yugoslavia nationalist). Before then, there was mass slavery in the world. Slavery was one of the things the WAR was supposed to end, but what is happening now? “IMPERIALISM”; Richer countries are putting smaller countries in debt, or accuse their leaders of violating human right, hereby sacking the government while setting up a puppet government and controlling the leaders in a latent but deadly form of SLAVERY…
The list is inexhaustible. If we are to disintegrate the problems of this world, it would disintegrate to individual problems, once we can cure individual problems which are up to every one of us, Its summation would stop the crumbling and the whole world would be restored back to its former state of purity, uniqueness and a state of high individual mental ability…
