Sunday 3rd of June
In the year 2012
A cloud of tragedy
Envelopes Nigeria
And Africa
When passengers
Numbering 153
Perish after
The Airlines Flight
9J-992 from Abuja
To Lagos plunges
Life has its own
Turns and Twist
For life is a
A capricious cloud
And a treacherous
Journey
Along potholes of
Travesties, Trials
And Tribulations
We find strength
In that God
Knows everything
We may not understand
Why somethings
Happen the way they
Happen but God
Is unknowable
And in control
Friends and relatives
Neighbours and colleagues
We shed tears filled
With hope and faith
Let the hearts heal
Repose trust
In the One
Who fails not
Let the hearts heal
Let the hearts hea

Not so nice, jare
This poem needs more images and poetic devices. Tells a sad story of our collective shame. cheers
l agree with both of you, thanks.
You much more economized words, economy of words so long as condensed and not senseless in poetry is ideal, yet virtue lies in the middle. Your message however is not unclear. Dalu!
well done – may our hearts heal
