Let it be the sky a canopy
Also the earth a carpet
I knew not the first i loved
Neither will i forever hold the last love
Create isolation between the land and sea
But make both be best of friends
For i know neither love or hatred
Neither whom to love or hate
Let be the sun no friends
But make the moon a billion friends
For who can know a man’s heart?
Who can say the things he secretly thinks?
Save the sun at day
Never mar the moon at night
Love those who love me
Hate not those who hate me
Make the rainfall flow free
Help the thunder light lit bright
Repay my best of friends
Reward my worst of enemies
Make for the heaven a part of hell
And make the hell a part of heaven
For i know not everything
And i know not nothing
Cover the sky a golden cloth
Or a copper cloth
For i know not the time i truly arrive
And would not know the day i shall depart
Set it be the sun to govern the lights
Make it be moon to govern the nights
For i am a novice of my first tears
And a recruit of my last fears
Make the plants a grace for animals
And the animals a praise for plants
For i know not how i know things
And how easily they fly away
Make for the grave a sacred temple
Let it be man’s flesh the atonement
The heart beats faster today
Who knows what happens in the diary of time?

Great poem…
Nice. I noticed some good play on words in there. Some of the wordings are unnecessarily difficult though. Simple is good…sometimes.
Intriguing piece. But I like to think the Creator knew what he was doing sha.
better than everyone…
Hmmm…… Nice
Trying to imagine some suggestions here and they are like… crazy. Heaven and hell together? Inconceivable.
Nice job.
we dont really know things… ‘surprise’ i think may awaits us as so many question cannot be answered here in our time
pseudo-creationism!
if you thinks so…just deep yourself around it…it carries more meaning
Not bad.
we might have to understand things from their face values…the mind sees more than the eyes
