Rebirth

Despite lessons learned over time
Rebirth to me
Still feels like a crime
My spirit grieves the attachment it feels

The earth
With its attractions bring
A life full of many distractions
My attachment a casualty of dissatisfaction

Oh! What sad day!
My ignorance betrayed.
My ignorance ponders the choice of rebirth
The good they say die young

Evil lives too long
A secret the universe shares with only those who belong
Insights to this world’s grieving…
If a seed can grow into a tree…

Death in reverse is living
Rebirth in this finds its reason
Were those evil to die more
To the world more evil would flow and grow
