Maria Maria: Warning – Words verballistic!

To Mary Mother of Christ.

At the eve of Eve’s conception of ill
Begotten of the fruit in Eden consumed
Banned though, yet of frailty failed
Which unto the sluice gate of grace’s shut

Ere dawn humanity chars in ‘knowledge’
The nemesis of the apple’s elixir gratified
Squalling for the possession dispossessed
Of epitome of pasture pre-bestowed

The utopist thought to juxtapose the Infinite
That won banishment into vale of vileness
Scourged by sun, drenched therein by dews
Whereupon in sweats and woes they sorrowed

Another eve past, with eerie morn dawning
Creator upon creatures’ path in mercy sent
She, to the battlefront unto moon bound
Crowns with stars, with fiery sun armed

Second Eve’s conception and birth
Of second Adam to salvage come
The wreck of Boundless’ behest defied
The vessel humanity’s redemption brought.
