The sight made me gasped in horror
Is this a new trend or an error?
Isn’t nudity a close relative of obscenity?
Naked for the whole world to see
Is this really is a Nigerian!
She must be some other ‘rian’
Like an Algerian or a Liberian
Nipples erect like a soldier
Breasts glowing, showing their pride and youthfulness
A common sight in the West
Foreign to us; we are not impressed
She had strayed too far away from home to be a Nigerian
She became the native of another land
Without ever leaving the Motherland
Nollywood trying to be a slutty Hollywood
I begin to wonder about pride, self-esteem and dignity
Our youth in their prime, say this is no crime; this is their time to shine!!!

Remember that naked we came into the world, and we shall return the same way, so…
I’m even considering beginning a new trend of working about stark naked. I’m still considering how good it would look.

No problem. It will look very good and okay, provided you don’t dress like that when going for Xmas in your village. They will chain you in the house of the traditional healer and think you have become mad.

This poem is apt. It captures the facebook madness rampaging the society. Sometimes you just want to find out how some friends are doing, and you sign in. Just immediately, a photo upload of a naked man and woman right in bed “making love” shoots at your eye. Can’t there be respect for privacy, at least, of those who are your facebook friends?
This could have been more eloquent, at least for the sale of poetry. Nice message though.

That’s what I face everyday. I even get photo-tags too to show you how worse it is, but then, Is there anything to be done?

@babyada…Let’s make it a business venture, we ll open a hotel and our guests would have to walk about naked..We would call it the ‘BOA’ bare on arrival hotel…hehehehe!..
That trend cannot be stopped… quite unfortunate. What with the availability of internet at our every disposal… things might even get worse. The thing is, those who know the right thing, keep doing it and keep sharing the message too, perhaps some will “hear.”
