The loud sound of my alarm jerked me awake. I was just having the most interesting dream ever. As soon as my eyes finally opened, I realized I was still surrounded by my books, and my final paper would be starting in the next 45mins, and yet I have not covered all I have to cover. I grabbed my tooth brush with a speed so amazing I wondered if it flew into my hands. I hurried to the bathroom, quickly had my bath, and hurried out to dress up. I still debated whether to apply make-up or not. Hurriedly, I grabbed my Kajal, did a quick swipe with it below my eyelids – that was going to be my only make-up for today, I thought to myself.
Now it’s time to revise, where is Tinu when I need her the most (She rants most times about all she has read shortly before the exam, and most times what she says sticks)? I did a quick glance through my jottings, revised formulas, learnt more definitions, den proceeded to pray.
I silently walked into the examination hall, and took my seat (in front of the invigilator). I quietly said a prayer, and started filling out the needed details on my Answer Script. The question paper came next, and immediately I saw it, I burst into a fit of laughter. Everyone around me thought something was wrong, because they were already complaining about how difficult the question was, and here I was laughing after seeing the question.
I raised my pen with such poise you will wonder if I had all the answers crammed already. I wrote SOLUTION TO QUESTION 1 as a heading, and started writing all that I knew. I followed that pace till I got to the 4th question. In all honesty, I had not even flipped through that part at all, and had no idea what to write there. Just like my eyes knew how badly I wanted to sleep, they started coming together. I struggled for a while to keep them open, but I lost the battle to them.
I slept right there and then in the exam hall, and even had a dream. In my dream, I was taken back to the class when the lecturer was taking the topics in question 4. Just like I was been taught again. And immediately the lecture finished in my dream, I woke up with a start, picked up my pen, and wrote like I have never written.
When the exam was over, most of my course mates complained about how terrible the questions were. I dared not say anything, because I know how much they will detest me if they get to know how much I wrote in the hall. I just told anyone that asked me how it went that, ‘we give Glory to God’.
The results came out and I was the best student in my level as regards that course. Till date, I know not what led to me sleeping, and how I came top, but I know of one thing, that I did not write that exam alone. Someone extremely divine must have written it with me.

@Diamondsblings,
The story is straightforward. You went for an exam, you fell asleep and had a dream, you woke up and finished the exam, you passed. No conflict, no tension, nothing to make me remember it afterwards.
Watch out for tense confusion – you have “The loud sound of my alarm jerked me awake (past tense)”, then you have ” yet I have not covered all I have to cover (present tense)”.
@TolaO- thanks… corrections noted…
Yea..some things are beyond the physical.
This is what deceives all those fellowship brothers and sisters and makes them not to read. If they work in the lords’s vineyard the lord will work in theirs. They pray for answers to be revealed to them….
They keep failing and resitting.
yes o!!!
Hmmmmm. This your gift ehn, e get as e be. Did this happen for real?? Wow. But you have to read next time sha.. This one na just saving grace.
Welldone.
thanks….
Hehehe…guess the Lord works mysteriously…
This is just a story, I can’t see literature. Besides, where’s the functionality?
yeah, it’s just a story…. and i wrote it as a comeback, nothing more to it…..
She is writing again… *dancing*
