I need a friend
Who will polish my armor
Even in times of horror

I need a husband
Who’s good with the swords
And keep his words

I need a wife
Who will womb my child
And tend me like i was a child

To be homed in a pyramid hut
Sheltered with cattle and lands
Amid a small pond to fish at noon

In a world’
Filled with rainbows and peace

A TRAVELED SOUL!

The ticks of the wall clock
Like clanks of basket forks
It ambles in 2nds towards 8 : o clock

Birds have quitted the skies
Neigbors have tuck’d their dice
A few runs across the doors by the roster mice

Time to turn-off the lamp
And grab a blanket to wrap

Time to die again
And snore in flesh
Aloof a travelled soul

Goodnite God
I love you!

Forever As Pure Friends!

Till ages
Lets have more poetry

In images and liquor
With friends and stones

Lets discuss the banquet lions
‘and the ominous prey

Lets sit together for cures
With cups like sculpt

Lets talk of the mating bingos
by the fire-woods

sit for cores till night shed
forever as pure friends

  1. The first one was a bit confusing for me – but the second one is spot-on. I love the simplicity and the depth.

    Well done, @poeticlicence….

  2. Quite a number of the lines had me scratching my head. Like “Sit for cores till night shed” what exactly do you mean by this?

The second poem is the best of the lot, the first is simply confusing. Is the narrator a man or a woman? If you want it to be a third party, then you need to edit it to reflect that.

    keep writing.

  3. You craft it from the horizon of yourself.

  4. My comment would be on that Picture.
    What is that?

  5. Nice poem though.
