Did i run away, or time passed me by
Is this real, or deception to my eye
Its my world, but No longer mine
The real me i now define
What’s this power i feel inside
So intoxicating, fills me with pride
My hands untied, i do wonder
I exploit nature, on its source i plunder
Yet that look in your eyes, that doubt
You need me, i want out
Me? The saviour of my world?
Is that really why i ‘ve been called?
Called to help tribes living in fear
To give hope where No one care
Remind them of the power they possess
Make their lives, make perfect sense
There is more i must learn
So much power, yet more to earn
I must, i ‘ll find the source
To make me worthy, ready for this course
Tap deep into the realm of the spirit
Get solutions and interprete it
Be a guide, defend what is right
To my people, be a shining light
Will i ever once again be me
Will i be able to set my people free
Will i rebuild a world torn apart
Give healing to a broken heart
If i perish, i ‘ll die fighting
A feeling to relish, its a good thing
I Am a gift, the subject matter
I Am an air bender, the Avatar
