After all said and done,
When the hairs on our heads are all white and grey,
When the wrinkles on your face
Still make me want to kiss you so,
Cos you’re still so full of beauty and grace,
Like the sun over a million years
After all said and done,
When at the turn of the first half of our century together,
With our children playing in our beautiful yard with their children,
We’re still so much in love like the very first moments,
I want it to be said that we stuck with each other
Like the clouds to the sky
Cos you and me are inseparable earthlings
Connected with one heart, body, soul and spirit.

What a sweet little poem, iLike!
Wow!lovely.
I think I need a new girl. I don’t see me loving this one in a months time. Not to talk of old age.
Thanks Myne and @ Kaycee, lol. Follow your heart, man.
i love this poem…
someone loving wrinkles warms me already.
is dat real or u’re wishing?
Yes…
@Adaobi, Thanks. The import of that line is that beauty from the inside is ageless, and it shows on the outside, wrinkles or not.
@Raymond, LOL.
Nice going….
Wow! Sweet poem. This could be a poem to motivate someone to keep loving. I love it. Beautifully written…and I like that it doesn’t sound unreal.
