The Minimalist’s Metrical Scheme

The Minimalist’s Metrical Scheme

This would be a series consisting  of about 10 poems that employ the use of  minimalism (using as less words as possible to convey a meaning, or sometimes ditching conveying any meaning altogether), and also these poems will follow a specific meter scheme (maybe number of syllables or number of words in each line). So, here are the first two offerings from this series, Enjoy :D

EPISODE 1

Rain

It pours

On our souls

And yes we feel

The power it has

On our souls

It pours

Pain

EPISODE 2

I cry

Yes

Indeed

But yet

I

Fight

Pressing on

Relentless

I won’t stop now

No

No

Not Now

Never

Will I stop, ever

Sigh!

Thank God

I

Cry

No more
